As a young organisation, we have been quite successful at connecting with our peers and establishing a community thanks to our website. Our website not only serves as the primary source of disseminating information, but we also receive a lot of comments, messages, and feedback on our activities through our website.
It goes without saying that the website has been instrumental in the growth of the Umeå Postdoc Society.
Over time, many postdocs have suggested that our web address could have been better. Initially, we were reluctant to make that change. However, recent troubles with our current web hosting service provided the extra impetus to do something about it. We have addressed, pun intended, this issue by getting a brand new web address – umeapostdocs.com!
Everything else remains the same. The flow of information will continue as ever. We have finally resolved some issues regarding emails, event reminders and contact forms on the website with this new update.
