UCMR Day – Review

This year’s UCMR day kicked off early morning on the 14th of January, with keynotespeakers Stephan Pöhlmann and last year’s Nobel Prize in Chemistry recipientEmmanuel Charpentier. All round the scientific talks and posters presented at thismeeting reflected the high scientific standard of research performed here at UmeåUniversity. We are happy to have represented the Umeå Postdoc Society at theUCMR day by presenting a poster as well as snagging one of the coveted elevatorpitch slots, during which we got the chance to quickly tell people about “Who we are,what we do and much more!!!”. We hope everyone attending has enjoyed the talksand posters as much as we did. We are already excited for next year’s UCMR day.
