Dear Postdocs, Winter is upon us, and UPS invites you to enjoy the vårvinter (spring-winter) sun at the sea! This time, we explore Strömbäck Kont’s Naturreservat on Saturday, 14 March 2026. HIKE DETAILS:

• We take the Bus 126 at 9 am sharp from Vasaplan, platform M. Yes, it is a bit early for some, I know, but there are not that many buses running this time of the year 🙂
• The track will lead us from Strömbäck village down to the top of the peninsula. The entire distance should be between 10 and 16 km, depending on our mood and the snow conditions.
• The Bus 126 takes us back at 3.20 pm to Vasaplan M, where we arrive about 30 minutes later

WE MEET: Saturday, 14 March, 8.50 am at Vasaplan, platform M (check the link! It is a bit off the main bus station.)

WHAT TO BRING:  Hiking/robust boots, warm clothes (check the weather forecast), water, food (for BBQ if you want), fika, a smile, camera, blanket or cushion to sit on
