We are happy to host Andy Ward, who is working as a Senior Scientist at the UK Central Laser Facility (CLF). CLF offers expertise and a broad spectrum of laser facilities to support research in both academia and industry. We will look at some of Andy’s career history and how working as a scientist at a National Facility can offer an alternative route to mainstream academia.
